Job Summary
Electrical Engineer sought to support the project management team in planning, bidding, management, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. Responsibilities include administrative and operational tasks: subcontract and purchase order administration, change management, project documentation control (RFI’s, ASI’s, CCD’s, submittals, logs, meeting minutes), bid activities and estimation, maintaining project schedules, representing the project management team in meetings, drafting subcontracts and scope exhibits, reviewing subcontractor pricing and change orders, and contributing to safety and company culture at ESI. Based at the headquarters in Meridian, Idaho, with potential on-site work and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 5-10 years of electrical engineering experience
- Strong technical knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems
- General knowledge of reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, procurement packages, and submittals
- Experience supporting electrical construction
- Current safety certifications, including OSHA 10-hour (desired)
- SWPPP certification (desired)
