Job Summary
Perform engineering computations, conduct evaluations, and develop design analyses to create construction-ready packages for local and regional projects. Prepare plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and recommendations for supervising Professional Engineer approval. Apply standard practices to adjust data, resolve discrepancies, and utilize CAD to develop engineering documents. Serve as a field engineer during project construction and collaborate with multi-discipline teams on data and application development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and work authorization in the US. No visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, field investigations, construction observations, and the application of advanced engineering techniques
- Ability to participate in field investigations
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic scientific, technical, financial, and legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
- Knowledge of discipline-related software applications
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in these sectors
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development
