Job Summary
Conduct electrical load calculations, building audits, and system evaluations to optimize energy solutions for K-12 and government projects. Design electrical support systems, generate equipment specifications, and produce plans using AutoCAD while reviewing submittals and assisting with commissioning. Perform on-site installation inspections, attend construction meetings, and execute punch-out procedures. Collaborate with design teams, project developers, and estimators on budgeting and design reviews. Manage utility incentive paperwork and support sales events as required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar accredited Engineering Technology program
- Intrastate travel
- Active driver license status
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- previous experience in Energy, Electrical Power and Lighting
- ability to conceptualize and carry out the design coordination and implementation of such systems
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Word, Excel
- Experience with other system design software
