Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for developing electrical systems for a new medium-duty vehicle platform, including low- and high-voltage architectures, wiring harness design, and integration with propulsion and charging systems; requires CAD tool proficiency, CAN bus, and international travel to China; on-site role in Riverside, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle electrical engineering (EV experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage power systems, grounding, and circuit protection
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, Altium Designer, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with wiring harness design, diagnostics, and validation
- Strong knowledge of CAN bus systems, powertrain control, and communication architectures
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes for vehicle electrical systems
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including frequent travel to China
