Job Summary
Electrical Engineer III in a hybrid Ferndale, WA office role responsible for evaluating/applying electrical engineering knowledge on single- and multi-disciplinary projects, developing scopes of work and technical specifications, performing load calculations and design work (one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, lighting, grounding), responding to RFIs, and supporting project budgets/schedules; collaborate with electrical design teams and possibly oversee other engineers; ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, API and IEEE standards; travel to refinery sites as required; communicate effectively with clients and vendors; skilled in ETAP/SKM/EasyPower and low/medium voltage systems; preferred PE licensure and prior refinery/industrial facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Electrical Engineering for Refinery or other oil and gas related industries
