Job Summary
Electrical Engineer (E&I Maintenance) at Dakota Gasification Company in Beulah, ND. Provides technical assistance on electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment to reduce production losses and ensure safe, compliant operation of the Synfuels plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting E&I issues, specifying new equipment, testing trip logic for critical rotating, fixed, and fired equipment, developing PM and PdM strategies to improve reliability, commissioning new installations, optimizing spare parts and BOM revisions, creating as-built documentation, developing electrical and instrument procedures and standards, supporting asset-management efforts, and collaborating with Process Operations, Planning, and Maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an Engineering Accreditation Commission/Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET) accredited electrical engineering program
- A valid driver’s license
- This is a Department of Transportation (DOT) (PHMSA) qualified position
- Occasional travel required
