Job Summary
Design mechatronics systems from a blank sheet, owning electrical design for aircraft and ground subsystems while collaborating with firmware, systems, and mechanical engineering teams. Build prototypes in the lab to identify optimal sensors and actuators, then debug complex systems to resolve signal integrity, electromagnetic interference, or hardware design errors. Your designs will operate complex mechanisms in the field and air within a year. Report to the Lead Electrical Engineer within DoorDash Labs, the innovation hub developing automation and robotics solutions to enhance last-mile logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience designing electronics circuit in highly cross-functional work environments
