Job Summary
Review electrical distribution designs and technical deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance while applying professional engineering judgment to resolve technical issues. Support engineering work involving aerial distribution systems, pole infrastructure, and joint-use projects including utility pole replacement and relocation. Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure project work meets applicable engineering requirements and client expectations. Contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale pole infrastructure program in British Columbia. This role requires a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with 3-5 years of experience in electrical distribution and aerial systems. Flexible work options include remote flexibility combined with purposeful in-person collaboration through a hybrid arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in good standing
- At least 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong experience in electrical distribution
- Experience working with aerial distribution systems
- Practical knowledge of pole infrastructure
- Strong technical review skills and the ability to assess engineering work independently
- Sound engineering judgement and a strong focus on quality
