Job Summary
Design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities, including power distribution, emergency power systems, lighting, and earthing. Perform load calculations for IT and cooling systems, and assist in specifying transformers, switchgear, and protection devices per applicable standards. Coordinate with mechanical engineers for HVAC integration, prepare drawings and technical reports, and support testing and commissioning activities. Apply national and international guidelines under senior engineer guidance while staying current on energy-efficient design strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Approx. 5 years of professional experience in electrical design for buildings, infrastructure, or critical facilities
- Basic experience or exposure to data center projects, critical power systems, or mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with power distribution and emergency power systems, electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, short-circuit or arc-flash studies and electrical codes and standards
- Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD and/or electrical calculation software
- Experience with Revit/BIM for electrical systems
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams
- Good level of English, written and spoken
