Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for designing critical power systems for data centers and expansions, leading design teams, using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP to develop construction documents, coordinating with trades and stakeholders, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and conducting field observations. Role involves managing projects, developing conceptual designs, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with NEC, Life Safety, and Energy Conservation Codes; requires experience with generators, UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and distribution systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree
- Experience with Electrical Power Systems / Power Distribution System design and installation
- Experience with generators, UPS systems, PDUs and electrical switchgear
- Proficient using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
- Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with trades and stakeholders
- 3-10 years experience in MEP/data center projects
- Licensed PE / EIT a plus
- Knowledge of NEC, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes
- Experience with design of building systems for data centers
- Experience with BIM tools (Revit, BIM)
- Strong communication and project-management skills
