Job Summary
Design electrical, low-voltage, and technology systems including power distribution, lighting controls, emergency power, and renewable energy for construction and bidding. Coordinate information and communications technology systems such as data networks, security, and access control. Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications while applying engineering principles to develop project solutions. Research client requirements and standards to evaluate feasibility and system performance. Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders through written and verbal communication. Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for conformance with contract documents. Support project delivery, scheduling, quality control, and team collaboration. Requires 5+ years of consulting engineering experience, Bachelor's degree, and Revit/AutoCAD proficiency. Onsite role in Orlando, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of consulting engineering/MEP design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Candidates must have current work authorization in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- FE registration preferred with the ability to pursue PE licensure
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- RCDD certification is a plus
- Experience with power distribution, lighting systems, infrastructure design, construction administration, submittal review, energy systems, renewable energy systems, and technology/low-voltage systems
