Job Summary
Electrical Engineer at CMTA (a Legence company) designing electrical systems for energy-efficient buildings and infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems; will collaborate with a team across all project phases, interact with owners/architects/contractors, and contribute to bidding and construction efforts. Responsibilities span producing high-quality electrical designs, resolving technical details, interpreting drawings/specs, and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, 3+ years of MEP design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT; FE registration is preferred with potential for PE. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote, Lafayette, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in MEP design
- Experience with Revit/AutoCAD
- FE Registration preferred; potential for PE registration
