Job Summary
Electrical Engineer role focused on electrical, instrumentation and controls design for water and wastewater treatment assets, including review of designs and procurement documentation, development of standard templates, technical development of junior engineers, collaboration across engineering disciplines, and client-proximate technical proposals. Requires a tertiary degree in electrical or electronic engineering, 5–10 years of design experience in water assets, CPEng/RPEV potential within 12 months, and strong knowledge of Australian Standards; hybrid working arrangement available in Mulgrave, Victoria, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- A tertiary degree in electrical or electronic engineering
- Ideally 5 – 10 years’ experience in the design of water and wastewater assets
- Experience within an engineering consultancy, or in a design role for a contractor or asset owner
- CPEng and RPEV status or can be achieved within 12 months with CMP’s support
- Good understanding and knowledge of Australian Standards and clients’ design standards/procedures for major water authorities in Australia
- High levels of personal integrity, and a desire for continued professional development and improvement as an engineering professional
