Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for leading and mentoring project teams within their discipline, coordinating across disciplines, interfacing with clients, and directing engineering tasks from design through detailing and specifications. Responsibilities include producing basis of design reports, systems matrices, and preliminary design reports; managing drawing and specification production; preparing specifications and Statements of Special Inspections; supporting quality control, staffing, and budgeting; and coordinating with other disciplines. Requires advanced analytical and engineering evaluation skills, knowledge of contractual and liability issues, strong client relations, proficiency with Revit and analysis software, and extensive drawing production experience. Typical project types include health care, academic/lab/research, and corporate/workspace environments; candidate should have a BS/BEng/BAE in engineering, 10+ years of experience, and PE registration.
Required Qualifications
- BS, BEng, or BAE degree in engineering relevant to the particular field of practice or equivalent as determined by the firm
- Post Graduate degree preferred, not required
- Ten (10) years of experience or more
- PE Registration
