Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for designing power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings. Ensure NEC, Building Codes, and NFPA compliance; use AutoCAD and Revit for design; collaborate with project teams and clients; prepare project plans, specifications, and cost estimates; review construction documents and provide construction administration support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- EIT preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience in designing power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings
- Familiarity with the National Electric Code, Building Codes, and NFPA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
