Job Summary
Electrical Engineer role: lead and manage project design initiatives as a licensed P.E., supervise a team of design professionals to produce high-quality electrical schematics and layouts, perform field observations and prepare project reports, assume Job Captain responsibilities, and communicate with peers, supervisors, vendors, consultants, clients, and stakeholders. Requires a 4-year engineering degree, P.E. licensure, 6+ years’ design experience (2+ in senior designer roles), 2+ years leading projects and teams, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD & REVIT along with project-management and documentation duties.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 4-year Engineering degree
- Minimum 6 years experience as Designer, including at least 2 years in Senior Designer role
- Minimum 2 years experience leading engineering projects
- Minimum 2 years experience leading engineering teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage timelines and multiple projects in high-pressure environment
