Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for computer drafting and sizing of electrical components for HVAC projects, including plan views, sections, elevations, and one-line diagrams; perform lighting calculations and fixture selections, emergency lighting design, and ensure compliance with Wisconsin and other state codes; conduct code research, fuse/breaker coordination, arc flash, and load calculations; size panels, switchboards, switchgear, and generators; utilize Neher-McGrath methods and Amp Calc software for underground duct banks; develop front-end specification documents and participate in design-bid-build/design-assist/IPD project execution; maintain high quality and proactive communication with project engineers and managers; demonstrate problem-solving, initiative, and continuous learning; professional, dependable, and detail-oriented; adapt to shifting priorities while meeting commitments.
