Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for leading electrical design tasks for MEP projects, preparing electrical conditions assessment reports and preliminary project descriptions, coordinating with clients and design team members, developing design approaches for electrical power, lighting, and systems, producing CSI MasterSpec-based specifications and detailed drawings, performing field verification and on-site observations, coordinating with contractors and equipment suppliers, and participating in project management activities including owner-architect-contractor meetings and punch-list reports; requires licensure as a Professional Engineer in the U.S., 5+ years of related experience, and proficiency with Revit and Office 365.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/Registered Professional Engineer (in a U.S. state)
- Five + years of related electrical design/engineering experience
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, practices, and techniques
- Familiar with design standards and building codes
- Self-performing; capable of leading engineering tasks with minimum oversight
- Presents a positive, team-focused attitude to both clients and peers
- Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently on multiple projects in a given time period
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite and Autodesk Revit
