Electrical Engineer – Cable Harness Routing Designer

Job Summary
Design and develop cable harness routing solutions in 3D CAD according to technical requirements and design standards. Create, maintain, and release routing models and associated engineering documentation while optimizing installations for packaging, manufacturability, serviceability, robustness, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with electrical architects, mechanical designers, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development process. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during concept, development, and detailed design phases. Support prototype builds, validation activities, engineering changes, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in cable harness routing, electrical installations, or mechanical design within product development projects
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5 or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) principles
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills in English, with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
