Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer I will support engineering, manufacturing, and customer support through effective management of electrical components and supply chain processes. Key responsibilities include research and qualification of electrical and optical components, design of analog and digital circuits, schematic entry and board layout, and evaluation of product performance to meet requirements. The role requires collaboration with various engineering disciplines and managing product documentation such as bill of materials and engineering change orders. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, PCB experience, and effective use of electronic design tools. The job is classified as exempt based on the Professional Exemption.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- PCB schematic capture and layout experience
- Experience with electronic design tools (Schematic editor, SPICE, etc.)
- Effective use of troubleshooting and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, custom test platforms, spectrum analyzer, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and provide timely results
Desired Qualifications
- Analog / small signal electrical design expertise
- Familiarity with software programming
- Demonstrated experience in embedded system design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment
- Experience working in industrial products industry
