Job Summary
Lead the electrical discipline across multiple concurrent projects through pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases, serving as the engineer of record for diverse facilities including data centers, treatment plants, and transportation infrastructure. Develop construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination while performing system studies such as arc flash, load, and short circuit analysis. Travel to project sites for surveys, data collection, and audits, and provide mentoring to junior staff. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and design professionals to support proposal efforts and win design work. Requires fluency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM360, SKM, Etap, EDSA, Easy Power) and knowledge of standards including NFPA, NEC, and IEC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering
- Hold Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and actively working towards Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
- 4 or more years' relevant experience in engineering
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice
- OSHA training (in some Business Lines this will be required)
Desired Qualifications
- May also be working towards advanced degree (M.Eng., MS, MBA, etc.)
- OSHA training (preferred in some Business Lines)
