Job Summary
Design electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and office buildings, including backup power, lighting controls, and life safety systems. Direct designers in creating building designs, develop construction documents and specifications, and perform field investigations and site visits. Use computer-assisted engineering software to model power distribution and coordinate with other design professionals while ensuring all work conforms to NFPA 70 and other industry codes. Serve as Engineer of Record, directing activities to ensure installation and operational testing meet specifications. Requires a current PE license, minimum 8 years experience, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare Experience
- minimum 8 years' related experience as a licensed professional
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Current PE License
- NCEES Registration
- Licensed in at least one U.S. state
- Revit
- Auto CAD
- MEP
- MS Office Suite
- Trace 3D
- U.S. citizenship
- Background checks will be performed
