Job Summary
Electrical Engineer role at Air Liquide: provide high-voltage electrical support for maintenance activities across assigned sites, oversee vendor repairs, manage preventive maintenance during turnarounds, maintain documentation in Maximo, lead RCA/Vulnerability Studies, develop maintenance strategies, collaborate with contractors, and mentor operations staff to improve safety and reliability. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in electrical plant maintenance, experience with medium/high-voltage distribution and motors, willingness to travel across the U.S. and Canada, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to obtain necessary security credentials (TWIC, Passport).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of support experience in electrical plant maintenance
- Extensive experience with medium/high-voltage distribution systems and motors
- Troubleshoot electrical maintenance issues with motors and switchgear
- Willingness to travel across the United States and Canada
- Flexibility to work extended hours or varying shifts
- Proficient in Google applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Physical ability for lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders
- Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC card and Passport
