Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer in the High Voltage Power team within the Water division. Lead electrical tasks for infrastructure projects from 5 kV up to 230 kV, including protection and control design, grounding, standby power, and low-voltage distribution. Independently produce a full range of electrical design documents (Single Line Diagram, AC/DC schematics, Site layouts, Ground grid layout, Cable schedules, BOM, etc.), ensure deliverables meet standards and client requirements, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, and support construction, start-up, and commissioning. Occasional travel to client/project sites. Requires a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years of related experience, and registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada. Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available.
