Job Summary
Design electric master system plans, power systems, protection models, and renewable energy systems while performing power studies, lighting simulations, and communications calculations. Develop white papers and technical documentation to support the firm's technical knowledge management, submitting designs for publication in technical journals. Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals for client requests, review drafts for regulatory compliance, and meet with current and potential clients to assess design needs. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers, supervising project work as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology or related discipline
- Professional engineering (PE) license
- 7 years of related experience
- Domestic and/or international travel
- Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
- Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
