Job Summary
Design power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings while ensuring compliance with NEC, Building Codes, and NFPA. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design work, collaborate with project teams and clients, and prepare project plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Review construction documents and provide construction administration support. 5-10 years of related experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering preferred; EIT preferred or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- EIT preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- 5-10 years of experience in designing power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings
- Familiarity with the National Electric Code, Building Codes, and NFPA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
