Electrical/Electronics Engineer III (Maritime Navigation Systems)

Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and integration of tactical maritime navigation systems, supervising engineering teams and managing contracted tasks across the life cycle. Drive system engineering for navigation sensors, power distribution, EMI/MIL-STD qualification, and MIL-SPEC/COTS materials. Oversee circuit and embedded system design, CAD documentation, cable plant development, thermal management, ICDs for integration into ship architectures, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers, logisticians, and technicians to meet deadlines and workmanship standards. Provide mentorship and personnel management across recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and career development. Maintain customer relationships and ensure compliance with contract requirements and the SOLVERE QMS. Travel quarterly to support dockside, at-sea system grooms, site surveys, and NAVCERT events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related engineering discipline (required)
- 10 years of professional electrical engineering experience (required)
- At least 5 years of task management or technical leadership experience (required)
- U.S. Citizenship required (as a condition of employment)
- Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is preferred (not required)
- Fulfills the Key Personnel LCAT: ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS III (as applicable)
