Job Summary
Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, and panel installations for LV systems, including EV charging stations, distribution boards, and power systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment while using testing tools like multimeters and meggers to diagnose faults and verify system integrity. Ensure all work adheres to UAE regulations and safety protocols, including lockout-tagout procedures and HSE guidelines. Maintain accurate records of installations and tests, coordinate with supervisors and contractors, and report hazards to stakeholders. Requires 2–5 years of experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in LV electrical systems, wiring, cable termination, and panel installations
- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers, earth testers)
- Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA)
- DEWA or ADDC technician certification
- Relevant vocational training in electrical systems
