Job Summary
Electrical Drafter to create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical for medium voltage switchgear; produce wiring diagrams, BOMs, control and interconnection drawings; coordinate with engineering and manufacturing; ensure compliance with drafting standards; 2-4+ years experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of drafting experience in industrial electrical or power distribution environments
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, electrical drafting standards, wire list generation and revision management
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with medium voltage switchgear, power distribution systems, protection and control systems, industrial control applications
- Familiarity with NEC, UL, IEEE, or NEMA standards
- Experience supporting manufacturing teams and engineering redline processes
- Exposure to PLM or document control systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
- 2-4+ years of electrical drafting experience in industrial or power distribution environments
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
