Job Summary
Design electrical drawings for panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, control panels, and temporary power systems while supporting engineering, fabrication, testing, and documentation. Prepare manufacturing drawings, GA layouts, wiring schematics, and BOMs. Support engineering submittals and drawing revisions. Coordinate with Electrical Engineers and production. Apply NEC, UL 508A, UL 891, UL 67, and NEMA standards. Participate in QA/QC reviews and shop support. Interpret one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and control diagrams. Join a rapidly expanding power engineering company where you will receive mentorship from experienced engineers and work on complete project life cycles, with opportunities to develop toward Senior Designer, Design Lead, or Electrical Engineering positions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of electrical drafting/design experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Able to interpret one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and control diagrams
