Job Summary

Utilize AutoCAD to prepare drawings using computer-aided drafting and basic design of electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications services for manufacturing tools. Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workload and deliver packages, often under tight deadlines. Maintain proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements, including one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan view drawings. This role supports the Tool Installation team within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Candidates must have 2+ years of relevant experience and be located in client home office locations such as Portland, Tempe, or Pittsburgh.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, organization, and self-performance skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including remote environments
  • Two-year Associate's Degree in relevant field, such as electrician, instrumentation & controls, or construction
  • Exposure to National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC)
  • Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilities
  • This is a hybrid position and may require periodic travel to client sites
  • Preference to candidates located in client's home office locations, such as Portland Hillsboro, Corvallis, OR; Tempe, AZ; and Pittsburgh, PA
  • Site work will require field mobility, including walking for surveys, stairs, access platforms, protective wear, etc.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
