Job Summary
Electrical Designer responsible for the design of electrical systems for oil & gas, power, and renewable energies projects. Involves FEED or front-end design or design execution including procurement of equipment and detailed drawings for construction and commissioning of an entire facility. Responsibilities include drafting/design using AutoCAD/Microstation, creating electrical layouts, managing inter-discipline interfaces, developing design/construction standards, modeling with E3D/S3D, preparing material quantities, and using tools such as NavisWorks/Smartplant while adhering to applicable client requirements and local/international codes and standards. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience (average 3-7 years)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word)
- Good understanding of Electrical concepts and 3 phase power calculations
- Experience with drafting/design activities using AutoCAD/Microstation
- Prepare electrical layouts independently with inter-discipline interfaces
- Modeling of cable trays, light fixtures in E3D/S3D
- Experience with NavisWorks/Smartplant
- Knowledge of client requirements and relevant codes/standards for electrical design
