Job Summary
Lead the Electrical Design team through daily prioritization, resource planning, and technical guidance while driving design execution from concept through validation. Ensure designs meet customer requirements, project commitments, and safety standards by collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Controls, and Operations. Mentor team members to build technical capability and leadership bench strength, shaping design standards and supporting project delivery. This role offers a leadership position within a growing automation environment for a candidate with strong industrial automation experience, EPLAN proficiency, and a minimum of five years in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in industrial automation and electrical design
- Proficiency in EPLAN
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Edrawings
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ Years' Experience within the Automation or Automotive Manufacturing Field
- Preference given to candidate holding PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) Designation
