Job Summary
Design off-road mobile equipment electrical systems by collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to develop cost-effective, reliable solutions. Execute 3D modeling of components and electrical routings using Creo and Windchill, while creating 2D drawings, specifications, and troubleshooting electrical schematics to validate system function. Support assembly line challenges and compile engineering decisions and design analysis data to document solutions for prototypes and production adoption. This role focuses on robust, cost-effective designs for agricultural, construction, mining, and industrial machinery, requiring a Bachelor's in engineering and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Agricultural Engineering or related degree
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in 3-D Modeling Software; Creo (Preferred)
- Previous experience with Windchill or PDMLink
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Design experience with off-road mobile equipment
- Ability to address quality issues, determine root cause and drive to a corrective action
- Desire to work in an engineering environment focusing on robust & cost effective designs
- Experience working with Electrical Systems or Harnesses
- Experience operating off-road mobile equipment
