Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary
Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop lighting and power systems for diverse building types. Responsibilities include applying expertise in mechanical system basics, contributing to mechanical system design development, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, and leveraging proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit preferred). Requires PE license or willingness to obtain, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an electrical concentration, 6-10 years of experience in electrical building design, LEED knowledge, strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, a US driver’s license, and ability to access job sites (ladders/stairs).
Required Qualifications
- PE License or willingness to obtain PE
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a concentration in electrical design)
- 6 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in electrical building design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is preferred
- Experience in project types such as education, civic/government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high tech/R&D, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare
- Knowledge of the LEED certification process (LEED Accreditation is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A US Driver’s license is required
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access job site areas relevant to each client project
