Job Summary
Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support power distribution and protection equipment. Responsibilities include designing PDUs, STS, RPPs, and switchboards; developing power and control circuit designs; selecting components, system architecture, and mechanical integration; creating BOMs, electrical schematics, and design specifications; contributing to customer documentation and testing procedures; participating in design reviews; supporting certification with UL/CSA/EC; performing troubleshooting and lab testing; providing documentation and technical input to improve reliability and compliance. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and experience with AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools, strong writing and analytical skills, and hands-on testing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting software
- Experience designing power distribution equipment such as PDUs, STS, RPPs, Switchboards
