Job Summary
Conduct pre-design field surveys, prepare schematic designs, and generate power single-line diagrams for energy-efficient buildings and complex infrastructure projects. Perform electrical calculations using ETAP/SKM, design low-voltage systems, and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural disciplines to ensure code compliance. Lead small-to-medium projects from bidding through construction administration, managing RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting punch walks to maintain design intent. This role supports CMTA's work on sustainable, zero-energy projects for clients across various sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience using NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
- current work authorization in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- EIT
- 1-3 years' experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead electrical design projects
- Demonstrate project management skills
- Experience in Consulting Engineering
