Job Summary
Design and validate electrical systems for our robotic factory, including power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning. Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, and PLCs to meet reliability and performance requirements. Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs while establishing documentation standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues in factory and field deployments, collaborating with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration. Scale electrical systems from design through manufacturing and deployment to solar farms. Based in San Leandro, work 4-5 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in electrical engineering with hands-on skills in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation
- Can read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams, and are proficient with CAD tools for electrical design
- Have experience specifying and integrating electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLCs) and understand electrical codes and safety standards
- Have worked in a fast-paced startup environment before, and loved it
- Are based in or can relocate to the SF Bay Area, and able to work 4-5 days/week from our San Leandro HQ
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
