Electrical Design Engineer - AUTOCAD Electrical - (Power Generation and Distribution, Controls Panels)

Electrical Design Engineer specializing in electrical/controls design for power generation and distribution. Responsible for creating electrical/control drawings and BOMs, ensuring compliance with UL, NEC, NFPA 79, and other standards; coordinating with EPC, Operations, and other engineering groups; designing LV/MV/DC electrical systems and interfaces (including SCADA, HMIs, PLCs, and protection schemes); utilizing AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, Vault, and IFS; reviewing drawings, and supporting manufacturing and installation. Requires 2-5+ years of related experience, strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live within commutable distance to the Durham, NC office; relocation is not offered.
