Job Summary
Electrical Crew Leader leads a crew of 2 or more on civil construction and electrical projects, reporting to the Construction Manager/Master Electrician; responsibilities include daily leadership, safety and quality tailgate meetings, PPE inspections, material/site information verification, labor-cost management, NEC-compliant wiring installation, conduit grounding and electrical devices, site decommissioning, troubleshooting, climbing ladders and operating aerial lifts, and training crew members to perform tasks safely and effectively; position requires extensive electrical and construction knowledge, ability to read site schematics/blueprints, and willingness to travel with hotel per diem.
Required Qualifications
- Must have three or more years of experience in commercial electrical construction (electrical construction in wireless telecommunications preferred)
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be current on all OSHA and other training mandated by state and federal agencies that pertain to this position and have documented proof of successfully completing and passing the training.
- Willingness and ability to perform manual labor following verbal and/or written instructions
- Must hold a valid unrestricted driver’s license and be insurable by Heartland Solutions’ insurance provider
- DOT Certification (physical)
- CDL-A (preferred but not required)
