Electrical Controls Technician - Third Shift

Job Summary
Wiring electrical control panels efficiently in a high-volume production setting while reading schematics, B.O.M.s, and engineering prints. Lay out, machine, populate, and wire electrical control enclosures, assembling mechanical and pneumatic components as required. Use hand tools, drills, taps, saws, knockout punches, and multi-meters to verify work through continuity checks and simulated functional tests. May operate a forklift with provided training. This third-shift role reports to the subassembly floor supervisor and requires UL 508A experience, knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLC terminology, and applicable codes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience using the skills mentioned above
- Experience in wiring electrical control panels
- UL 508A experience is a plus
- Read and interpret schematics and electrical specifications as required
- Working knowledge of AC & DC control circuits, including single and three-phase motor control, PLC terminology/function, and basic knowledge of measuring instruments and meters
- The ability to work with and understand electromechanical functionality
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role in an organized fashion
- Strong computer skills
- Capable of working with all Microsoft Office applications
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Must be able to work independently and successfully complete multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- UL 508A experience is a plus
