Job Summary
Monitor plant systems, analyze performance data, and troubleshoot equipment issues to support safety, productivity, and cost optimization. Program custom PLC and drive solutions for Allen Bradley and Rexroth components, prepare bills of materials and technical drawings, and lead contractors during construction and start-up phases. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize automation systems, review supplier bids, and enforce health and safety practices in compliance with the ESA Code. This on-site role in Wheatland, PA, requires strong PLC programming skills and a commitment to continuous improvement within a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-time experience in a related electrical/controls role
- Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of creating/modifying technical drawings
- Strong PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley) and HMI experience (PanelView/Wonderware)
- Familiar with control system devices including sensors, transmitters, and VFDs
- Strong computer literacy and ability to document system changes accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ESA Code and related safety standards
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance is essential to the role
- Committed to promoting and adhering to health and safety standards
