Job Summary
Design, program, and commission advanced control systems for high-tech packaging machines, managing the full lifecycle from software development to on-site installation. Produce 2D electrical wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or EPLAN and apply PLC programming in Ladder Logic, FBD, or Structured Text to ensure solutions meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Requires HNC or equivalent qualification, strong understanding of power circuits, and practical hands-on engineering experience. Full-time role with occasional domestic and international travel; passport and driving licence required. Required Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming using Ladder Logic, FBD, or Structured Text (Rockwell, Beckhoff)
- Strong understanding of power and control circuits
- Ability to produce 2D electrical wiring diagrams using tools such as AutoCAD or EPLAN
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Practical, hands-on engineering experience
- A true team player with a structured and efficient way of working
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, international environment
- Willing to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
- A valid passport
- A driving licence
Desired Qualifications
