Job Summary

Electrical & Controls Engineer responsible for design, development, and delivery of electrical and control engineering projects to improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability. Key duties include auditing facilities and developing preliminary designs and estimates for electrical and control upgrades; designing MV and LV electrical power systems, electrical room design, motor control and grounding systems, and cable/raceway layouts; protection and control systems design and settings; electrical control and instrumentation system design including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems; designing, programming, and configuring DCS and PLC/HMI applications; system checkout, testing, and commissioning; preparing tender and construction packages with electrical and instrumentation drawings and installation specifications. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or diploma in electrical engineering, minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience, experience in North American standards, PE license, and ability to travel 5-20%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Legally entitled to work in the USA
  • Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%)
