Job Summary
Electrical Controls Engineer responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex controls systems and software on production equipment; will lead troubleshooting, safety procedures (Lock-Out/Tag-Out), and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and external vendors to install and start up new equipment; requires PLC/DCS/HMI programming, electrical design, and data collection/analysis, with focus on improving equipment and process performance; must have a Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 3 years industrial controls experience; location in Anderson, SC with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree program
- Minimum of 3 years industrial controls experience
- Experience and working knowledge of DCS and/or PLC hardware and software
- Advanced proficiency with PLC, DCS, or HMI programming skills
- Experience with system management such as backup/archiving and restoring
- Experience of industrial control networks (OT networks) set up and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to lead complex control engineering projects
