Electrical & Controls Engineer

Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and controls issues directly on the factory floor while modifying, repairing, and managing existing automated hardware systems. Develop, execute, and manage projects for all business operations, including designing data acquisition and process control systems that integrate PLCs with third-party tools and sensors. Troubleshoot Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet networks and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems. Work flexible and extended hours with on-call availability during nonstandard shifts to handle engineering issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and three years of industrial experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or over 5 years of related experience
- Minimum of three years of relevant industrial experience including designing, creating, programming, implementation, testing, and maintaining electrical & automated hardware control systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with computer systems, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Rockwell Factory Talk, Drives & PLC software & hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot and think critically, participate in team-based Root Cause Analysis meetings
- Ability and willingness to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and / or experience with brewing industry, specifically craft brewing industry
- Manufacturing operations experience
- International Society of Automation (ISA) CAP or CCST
- Registered Engineer In Training (EIT) in the State of Ohio
