Job Summary
We are seeking an Electrical-Control System Engineer II to support our Revere brand, responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of electrical control systems. Key responsibilities include developing PLC and HMI applications, conducting panel layout design, field commissioning, and system troubleshooting. You will work with client and internal teams to ensure project success. Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 5-7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, and strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automation design, programming, startup, service, or commissioning roles
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI/SCADA systems such as Rockwell (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View), Siemens, Schneider, GE, VTScada, Ignition
- Strong understanding of industrial networks: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, serial protocols, and wireless communications
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Field-ready attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GE iFIX, Schneider Unity/Control Expert, or Siemens TIA Portal
- VFD startup certifications (ABB, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.)
- Experience with instrument calibration and loop checks
- OSHA 30 or other industrial safety training
