Job Summary
Electrical Construction Superintendent responsible for overseeing electrical installations on a fixed-term 12-month project, coordinating with field engineering, and ensuring safety, on-schedule progress, budget adherence, and quality compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, addressing deficiencies, maintaining daily construction reports (progress, labor hours, equipment usage, weather, permits, inspections), collaborating with engineering/design teams, liaising among contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders, participating in daily/weekly planning meetings, and providing direction to site personnel. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience, at least four years of electrical supervision in mining/industrial/heavy construction, MSHA and environmental compliance familiarity, strong leadership and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and US work authorization without visa sponsorship. Health, safety, and environmental commitments are required on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of four (4) years of electrical construction supervision experience, preferably within mining, industrial, or heavy construction environments.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale electrical installations and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with mine safety regulations (MSHA) and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
