Job Summary
Develop detailed construction plans, including scheduling and resource allocation, while coordinating equipment acquisition to meet project specifications and quality standards. Manage contractors by overseeing their work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing quality control measures for all installation items. Monitor project costs and timelines to ensure the project stays within budget and avoids delays, while identifying and addressing potential risks. Facilitate communication between the client, contractors, and stakeholders, and maintain thorough records of activities and plan modifications. Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, permits, and legal requirements. Lead a large site team on our Amsterdam data centre project, contributing to over 500 MW of IT load in flight across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience in a similar role, within an M&E contractor
- Previous management of large site teams
- Proficiency in the use of MS programs
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
