Job Summary
Conduct technical estimation for electrical projects from bid preparation through job closeout documentation. Perform quantity takeoffs, enter data into estimating software, and solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotations. Review current material pricing levels, estimate addenda, and visit sites or attend walk meetings. Draft and submit proposal documents while reviewing bid and construction schedules. Attend weekly estimating team meetings and follow post-bid closeout procedures. Apply five years of experience and strong analytical skills to support Everus Construction Group's bid strategy.
Required Qualifications
- A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field
- 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator
